1 – Unexplained

How do we separate the banal from the extraordinary?

Why is it science when a modern physicist converts uranium into plutonium, but occultism when a medieval alchemist seeks to turn lead into gold?

Why is it normal to see far away strangers through live TV, but paranormal to hear close relatives through mental contact?

Why is it natural if babies grow from inert food, but supernatural if spirits materialize out of thin air?

Science throws the occult, the paranormal, and the supernatural into the same metaphysical bag because they do not obey well-known physical laws. Still, many scientific investigations straddle the border between physics and metaphysics. Among them:

the prodigious energies at work in the cosmos.
the unpredictable sub-atomic particles.
the puzzling self-organizing properties of matter.
the incredible skills of organic life.
the mysterious nature of consciousness
Obviously, a complete vision of the world must address many phenomena still unexplained by science. Eternism does it.

 

2 – Uncontrollable

Laboratories are not ideal settings to investigate the intangible. Yet, this has not dissuaded researchers. Several metaphysical phenomena are no longer dismissed as unproven speculations. The science of parapsychology is even officially recognized and taught in some universities.

The difficulty to verify parapsychological or psi manifestations is their elusiveness. Consider electromagnetic communications. They are simple and reliable. We dial a phone number and in seconds we are connected faraway. On the other hand, telepathic communications are seldom established at will and remain generally inconsistent. Then, media cover today the entire planet and millions have their personal camera. Why don’t we have indisputable records of levitation, telekinesis, or ghost appearance?

Here are the two major reasons:

1. We have a thin layer of perception.
The Earth’s shell is quite thin but covers a mass of molten rocks we never see unless it oozes upward in volcanic eruptions. Our perception is somewhat the same: a thin layer of ordinary events covers a large hidden reality not usually accessible to us except for its rare intrusions in our everyday world. Like volcanic eruptions, these intrusions are unpredictable and cannot be produced on demand.

2. We do not control chaotic phenomena.
What we call chaos rules interactions of immense numbers of Eternons. Our minds and our instruments have no way to reckon the countless waves that interfere, cancel, or reinforce each other. And chaos is found everywhere, from macrocosm to microcosm. Take the solar system. It appears to be a perfectly regular mechanism. Still, so many celestial bodies act upon each other that we cannot forecast precisely their long term positions. Take the human brain. The number of possible connections between our neurons exceeds the number of particles in the entire universe. If any structure is ruled by chaos, surely this is the one.
Like celestial or neuronal activity, psi phenomena involve too many Eternons, too many patterns of energies. No wonder we cannot manipulate them as easily as we place telephone calls.

 

3 – Magical

As long as we have limited mental capabilities, certain energies remain impenetrable. But we know they exist. We know thoughts are more than simple dances of molecules. We know inexplicable influences emanate from beings and things. We cannot use the lack of hard evidence to dismiss all unusual phenomena. Instead the search must go on. We have a good starting point: the intriguing electromagnetic energy. Almost everything around and within us has to do with it.

Stars are veritable electromagnetic generators. They radiate photons toward every corner of the universe. In the heart of planets, molten masses in motion create magnetic fields spreading far into space. On Earth, thirty bolts of lightning strike every second, each a source of electromagnetic radiation propagating over hundreds of miles. Organisms are not built with wires and switches but their cells are veritable miniature batteries. Electrical attraction and repulsion command all their chemical activity. Our body, mostly made of conductive saline water, accumulates electric charges that determines the polarity of our organs and tissues. Our health, to a great extent, depends upon the proper flowing of electrical energy between these poles. We could go on and on. The ubiquity of electromagnetic waves and fields betoken the energetic unity of the universe.

To say that we are immersed in an ocean of electromagnetic waves is an understatement. We are continually beset and bombarded by Eternon photons. They come from everywhere at once, each with its own oscillating pattern. Together they are the light of the universe. Not only the light we see, that from the sun, fires, or lamps, but also and in much larger quantity the light we do not see, that from radio waves, ultraviolets, infrareds, X-rays, and more. Let us observe two way we react to these amazing Eternons.

When photons emitted by this computer screen penetrate our eyes, they are converted in nervous impulse. Within our brain, this translates into black text on colored background. Let us focus on the single dot over a letter “i.” Photons flash from this little spot, not only toward our eyeballs, but in every possible direction. The same occurs with all the letters on the page, with all the pixels of the screen, with everything in the room and outside the window. Billions of trillions of photons emitted by every lighted atom wildly crisscross the air and reach our retinas simultaneously. Amazingly, out of this incoherent agitation, our eyes extract sharp, full-color, three-dimensional representation. This selecting and decoding of ethereal and prodigiously intricate patterns of energy is pure Eternon magic.

At the same time we are bathed in visible light, we are showered by invisible photons of radio waves. Radio waves have many sources, some natural, others artificial. Heavenly bodies, lightning, electrostatic materials, electric appliances, wires and cables, radio and TV broadcasts, cellular phones, all emit radio photons. These photons vibrate at frequencies our organism is not equipped to detect. When they enter our eyes, we do not “read” them as visible light. When they flood into our body, we do not perceive them. But they are there, in incalculable numbers. We just have to switch on some audio and video equipment to convert them into sounds and pictures. Radio waves are no ordinary objects. they do not deviate or stop when they collide. Instead, they intersect as if nothing had happened. Therefore, in spite of their chaotic overlapping, these photons keep conveying the high fidelity information our machines are able to decipher. This too is pure Eternon magic.

Electromagnetic phenomena are for us the occasion to glance at the mysterious ways of Eternons. Electromagnetic energy, however, is only a part of Universal Energy. Further energies must be considered if we are to have a broader picture.

 

4 – Challenging

Parapsychology leads us beyond the ordinary limits of the human mind. It challenges classical causality and opens the doors upon a controversial and fascinating world. A world corrupted by superstition and trickery, but rich in spirituality and wonderment. Broadly speaking, psi phenomena may be arranged in three categories:

1. Extra-sensory perception or ESP
Information through channels other than the usual ones provided by ordinary senses. Examples: telepathy, psychometry, dowsing, perception of auras.

2. Psychokinesis
Action-at-a-distance through forces different from the physical ones identified by science. Examples: teleportation, levitation, psychic therapies.

3. Spiritualistic phenomena.
Manifestations of life independent of physical structure. Examples: apparitions, out-of-the-body and near-death experiences, spirit mediumship.
This division is not rigid; any psi phenomena combine various features. Nor is it exhaustive; there are further incomprehensible manifestations. Occult sciences, such as alchemy and witchcraft, claim their share of them.

For the scientific establishment, few cases of psi are worthy of serious investigation. But if we think of it, science already has its hands full with enigmatic manifestations. The creation of a human from a single pair of cells, the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly, even the lighting of a simple electric bulb, are not the least of them.

Let us see how Eternism contributes to the rational explanation of relevant psi phenomena.

 

5 – Telepathy

Telepathy is communication without intervention of known sensory means. Incoming messages suddenly flash into the mind. It is the most straightforward form of ESP and has been seriously investigated for years. The question is no longer whether telepathy exists. It is whether we can master it.

Telepathy supposes a sender and a receiver, but communication also occurs without voluntary participation. Instances abound in the history of sciences and technologies, where researchers unaware of each other simultaneously published discoveries or applied for patents. It is as if inventions or ideas would be floating in the air, waiting for minds to tune into them.

Spontaneous telepathy may also be tied to intense emotional distress. Persons in great danger or near death need not call their distant loved ones. Their mind does it on its own. Its silent voice may reach the targeted receivers even in their sleep.

Certain forms of telepathy connect several persons at once. Overwhelmed by emotion, a crowd will start binding mentally, each individual both a sender and a receiver of psychic vibrations. The phenomenon will persist for as long as everyone maintains the same spiritual diapason.

Eternism explains all telepathy as an extension to whole organisms of what happens at the level of their individual Eternons: instant interconnection. Telepathy therefore is not limited to humans or to members of a particular species. Any two organisms can exchange psi waves. For instance, a dog will read the mind of its master, even in the absence of physical clues like facial expression.

Expanding on this notion, telepathic contact is possible between us and aliens or discarnate beings. Actually, we humans, including many scientists, have always regarded this last form of communication as normal. We have practiced it long before the word “telepathy” was coined. It it a basic feature of every religion. We call it “prayer.”

Is telepathy electromagnetism? No, but waves of the mind stream and electromagnetic waves have a lot in common. Both usually work at extremely low energy. Both spread in all directions around their sources. Both may have their reception distorted by background “noise.” ESP channels are so easily scrambled that it is difficult to achieve perfect telepathic connection. For the tenuous psychic energy to build up significantly, Eternons have to vibrate in concert as photons do in a laser beam. Thus, successful psi requires great concentration. Religious rituals, with their distinctive locations, objects, attires, gestures, and sounds, have no other purpose than to improve transmission during prayer.

There are differences as well between electromagnetism and psi. We can measure and in many respects control electromagnetic waves, but psi waves are not discerned by our best instruments. Metallic screens and enclosures may block electromagnetic waves, but psi waves seem to pass freely through any material. Above all, electromagnetic waves do not directly relate to Eternon consciousness, whereas psi waves are its consummate manifestation.

 

6 – Green Vibes

As we mentioned, psi manifestations derive from the special nature and communication skill of Eternons. They may consequently take place within any structure in the universe. This means even within plants.

We all are aware that plants once were seeds. We know they grow and reproduce, and die. Yet, since they do not seem to care about their condition, we tend to view them as mindless products of nature. Besides,  they lack what we believe is the indispensable attribute of consciousness: a brain.

But the brain is valuable only to specific forms of life. And although plants have no brain and nervous system, they have their own bioelectrical network. Their cells and tissues use it to carry messages identical to those circulating through animal nerves.

Their metabolism may be slow and simple, nonetheless plants are reactive creatures. They are sensitive to their own condition, to the death of other organisms, and may feel vibrations of love and hate. Hostile thoughts can literally kill them, but affectionate care will do wonder for their growth. Gardeners with the “green thumb” know this well.

We must take plants for what they are: gathering of conscious Eternons.  Each herb, each tree, is epitomized, like ourselves, in the living energy of its Lead Eternon. There is no brain in this gathering of Eternons, but there is information and knowledge. Psi phenomena among plants are products of this awareness.

When told that plants are influenced by music, some persons manifest open skepticism. But why deny that the vegetable world is responsive to melodic waves? After all, can anything be more astounding than the ability of plants to convert vibrating sun rays into blooming symphonies of flowers?

 

7 – Psychometry

Of all psi manifestations, the most intriguing is psychometry, a form of telepathy between humans and things. Psychometry gives access to information encoded in an object. It supposes (a) that objets are able to store such information, and (b) that it can be retrieved.

The first condition is no problem because objects are made of Eternons. Their components enjoy faculties common to all Eternon structures, such as memory, even if in its dimmest expression. Also, Eternons having come together for some time are forever mutually influenced. The longer and the more intimate their contact, the more extended their common memories. Thus, the memories of an object include elements about the persons who have possessed or approached this object.

The second condition is common to all ESP experiences. Save rare exceptions, we have no direct access to pure Eternon consciousness. Only a handful of persons could explore the memory of, say, a piece of jewelry, and tell something about its former owners. But every one of us may occasionally feel the vibrations that emanate from an object loaded with emotional significance. Although it seldom goes further, it explains why relics, amulets, charms, talismans, are believed to be endowed with special powers. Again, this sort of folk superstition has its roots in actual Eternist features.

Psychometry exists because things and beings are somehow connected by their Eternons. Now we understand the dowser detecting water with a rod, or the radiesthesist spotting archeological relics with a pendulum. Eternons give to both the ability to feel underground presence when the best technology often remains powerless. Now we understand how special colors, shapes, and materials make a difference in our health and spirituality. We do not even have to ingest, touch, or see them. Simply, our pulsating Eternons start resonating with theirs in a special way.

 

8 – Psychokinesis

Psychokinesis differs from psychometry. It is the setting of matter into motion through the mere power of the mind.

Psychokinesis sounds farfetched, but it is quite common. Every one of us is a master at it simply because every one of us thinks. Each of our thoughts sets into motion the material atoms and molecules of our brain. Our state of mind even affects other molecules throughout our body, as attested by psychological illnesses and recoveries.

Can consciousness move matter on a larger scale, displacing or deforming objects, dematerializing and reconstructing beings? Of course! It is exactly what Eternons, who are pure conscious energy, do all the time. For instance, when they grow a baby into an adult, or when they grow a cloud of dust into a stellar system.

Can we do the same? In theory yes, but the most gifted among us seem to achieve little more than moving lightweight objects a few inches. As for human teleportation, it remains fictional. Physicists cannot detail the molecular arrangement of a single cell. How could they dismantle and reconstitute structures counting many trillions of them? Clearly, Eternons have not endowed the human structure with significant psychokinetic talent.

But what about levitation, this peculiar form of psychokinesis. Many spiritual texts claim that enlightened sages defied gravitation. The Buddha is said to have flown through the air, Christ to have walked on water. When in ecstasy, saints are supposed to be lifting up from the ground. Yogis and Tibetan monks have the reputation to hop or float in the air while in deep meditation. We have today little evidence to sustain these claims. Yet gravitation, like electromagnetism, is merely a particular form of Universal Energy. Although it is obviously not offered to everyone, maybe some gifted subjects succeed in controlling gravitation through altered states of consciousness.

 

9 – Bio-energies

In every culture of the world, we find mentions of a life energy flowing within and around the physical body. Enlightened humans are often portrayed surrounded by a luminous halo or aura. Eastern spiritual tradition gives a great importance to radiation emitted by living creatures. The colored layers of light enveloping an organism are said to be images of its various physical, mental, and spiritual states. Mediums and psychics claim that any person can learn to see this auric field.

In ordinary conditions, we are blind to radiation except to that we call “visible light.” With proper equipment, however, we detect the infrared aura of warm objects, the electromagnetic field of charged particles, or the bursting rays from radioactive substances. Why doubt that higher perception may allow to visualize the bio-energies of other Eternons?

For several thousand years, Chinese have investigated Chi, the vital force of the human body. They have recorded hundreds of points of acupuncture where implanting fine needles reinstates the balance of the organism. Yet, when scientists dissect bodies in search of connections between these superficial points and internal organs, they find none. Chi works through channels which are not visible features of the organism.

In India, chi is called prana and chakras are its focus points. Although chakras seem to match the plexuses of blood vessels and nerves, here again our body shows no marks of where prana is said to flow in and out.

Like all traditional and folk medical knowledge, Chinese chi and Indian prana are direct insights into Eternon energy. This is why they were known long before the discovery of magnetism and electricity in body tissues, long before the finding of endocrine glands and hormones.

Bio-energy flows not only within persons but also between persons. When humans meet, they do not need to exchange a word. Their Lead Eternons instantly evaluate each other and what they decide generally holds. As we say: “first impressions count.”

Charisma is another remarkable out-going bio-energy. Charismatic individuals exert an extraordinary influence on others. Political or religious leaders galvanize crowds. Artists and media people subjugate their public. Charisma may be so intense as to be irresistible.

What do auric fields, halos, acupuncture, chakras, empathy, and charisma have in common? They all are expressions of Eternon energy throughout and around our physical body. They explain how objects and persons we merely approach have the potential to improve or worsen our inner harmony, and how we can do the same to others. They confirm our nature of pulsating and sensitive Eternon structures.

 

10 – Spirits’ Realm

Metaphysical doctrines usually agree upon the existence of a spiritual realm peopled with heavenly entities and the souls of earthly creatures.

Among the firsts, are angels who act as intermediaries between Heaven and Earth. The angels of Buddhism are the Bodhisattvas, superior beings who relinquish nirvana to lead humans on the path of enlightenment. According to the Jewish Cabala, angels convey divine energy and their name ensures protection against calamities. The Bible speaks of innumerable angels serving as soldiers and envoys for the All Mighty. The Word of Allah was revealed to Mohammed by the angel Gabriel.

Among the seconds, are spirits of deceased beings who communicate with the manifest world. Spiritism, also called Spiritualism, claims that they do it in various ways: disrupting sounds and movements of objects, impression of films, spoken or written messages, and channeling through a medium.

A few humans believe that they have visited the world of spirits. During astral travel, they have left their body and visited remote locations before returning to materiality. In near death experiences, as victims of almost fatal injuries or illnesses, they have experienced indefinable peace and witnessed sublime light before returning to normality. Occasionally, they have met heavenly creatures and deceased relatives or friends.

Obviously, not all experiences are genuine. Impostors can counterfeit invisible and unpredictable spirits. Apparitions may be simple hallucinations. Channeling may be the sign of a repressed secondary personality. Near death imagery may happen when the brain on the verge of failing produces a soothing psychedelic chemical.

Nonetheless, the numerous testimonies of sincere and well-adjusted persons support the existence of a spiritual realm. Even when colored by personal beliefs, some spiritualistic experiences seem indisputable. Next, Eternism explains how this can be.

 

11 – Explaining

Heavenly entities
They exist. The entire universe is made of them. They are Eternons. In their fundamental state, Eternons are conscious energy without material substance. The structures they assemble may also exist as pure energy. Science itself recognizes that certain particles are true ghosts. For instance, invisible neutrinos pass freely through the densest matter and electrons remain immaterial entities that no human has ever seen.

Souls or spirits
Bearing in mind that all creatures are eternal and conscious Eternons, the presence of spirits around us is to be expected. These spirits are living Eternons rather than dead beings.

Evil spirits
Eternons are not free from ignorance and flaws. On their journey toward the Absolute, they commit mistakes. The differences in wisdom we verify among us have their roots in the differences among our respective Lead Eternons.

Angels
Although much symbolism is attached to angels, they are more than illusions or hallucinations. They are superior Eternons who serve as guides for less enlightened Eternons. Many believe we each have a personal angel who never leaves us. We do: it is our own Lead Eternon with its invisible but comforting presence.

Ghosts or apparitions
Beyond their materialized bodies, living beings are patterns of energy. Lead Eternons keep in memory the patterns, or templates, of all the structures they have previously directed. There is no impediment for a Lead Eternon, using such templates, to emulate the bodies of its earlier incarnations. More likely, however, apparitions are pure psi manifestations.

Astral travel
The waves of consciousness of the Lead Eternon extend beyond the physical envelope that it is animating. Occasionally, the human mind will free itself from the body and ride these ubiquitous waves.

Trance
Trance opens the medium’s structure to foreign Lead Eternons. The medium’s own Lead Eternon is momentarily directed by another Eternon, sometimes a more experienced one. In such trance, the medium becomes capable of unusual feats, speaking unlearned idioms and discussing matters previously unknown.

Communication with spirits
Superior Eternons do not need to materialize to be seen or heard by us. They appear and speak directly to our soul. Such mental perception explains why encounters with spirits are so contingent on personal states of mind.

 

12 – Real Power

The universe would be inexplicable and absurd if it was constructed of mindless particles. Instead, created and empowered by intelligent Eternons, it is captivating and coherent.

In this universe, paranormal and psi phenomena do not violate any physical laws. They merely transcend the ones science has discovered. Clearly, what we call objective reality is different for our Eternons and for ourselves.

Interest in the metaphysical and the occult is today greater than ever. Methods are proposed to see auras, to communicate with spirits, to heal psychically, to influence other people’s thoughts, to release hidden forces. Perhaps some among us may develop those skills. But why attempt to replicate what our own Lead Eternon already does so well? We, humans, are not primarily designed for dealing with psi. This is why the majority of us will never achieve any significant results in this domain.

Still, we need not worry. True enlightenment has little to do with acquiring parapsychological skills. The purpose of prayer, meditation, and further spiritual doings, is to achieve higher awareness, not to perform tricks. Telepathy, levitation, or spiritism are not needed to improve our spiritual condition.

The real untapped power we have is the intelligence Eternons have given to our human structure. Properly used, it can change the face of the Earth. It would put an end to ignorance. It would bring justice and mutual understanding. It would eradicate most ills and miseries. Let us start using this power.
